MR. AND MS. LYCEUM PRE PAGEANT MODE

JANUARY 27, 2005

JPL HALL OF FREEDOM

8: 30 AM

Call time for the staff (that’s us) to assemble at the Lycaean Office (rm. 111). I was still in the house preparing myself because I woke up 8AM in the morning (talk about being punctual). I arrived at exactly 9:15 AM at the office but we were still incomplete (Me, Rayms, Monds, Xtian, Hutch, Kat, Rain, Ms. Danday). First things first: Xtian distributed the Official T- Shirt for the Staff. Of course, I was very3x happy because it was my first T- Shirt design I made that was ever printed (I am so proud of my work!!!). And now off to the site.

10:30 AM

… With the 2 Raymonds and RJ on stage, we began to work on the stage design. Also, this was the time true tension starts (Hutch was at the limit of his patience). About our field work, we were pressured to finish the stage design on time. No lunch for us (both staff and candidates). All the people are beginning to feel the fatigue… but hey, it’s all worth it.

AROUND 1:30 PM

At last, the stage design was finished (talk about putting up the frame without using a scaffold). The candidates had a final run through of the pre- pageant.

4: 00 PM

Ok, it’s time for a much needed break for both us (the staff and the candidates)

5: 30 PM

Finally, the Pre pageant was about to start. Everyone (including me) went to their designated posts. I was quite nervous and at the same time excited during the event (Hey, after all, this is my 2^nd time handling an event). Then here comes the Candidates, having their entrance… the event has officially begun. As time flows by the pre- pageant was going smoothly… everything goes as planned.

9: 00 PM ONWARDS

After a long long Pre Pageant night… It was a success! Here comes the pack up. After wrapping up the area we went to the Lycaean Office for post evaluaton (which took 2 hours). Finally our stomachs are grumbling, and we went out to eat. We had our after dinner celebration @ Chowking U.N. (xempre sagot nila).

Let’s call it a day.
