Ho Ho Ho! Once again Christmas Season is visiting us (yep, just 20 days left)… reason for some of us to be jolly (including me?!? Hope so), spend their time reuniting with their loved ones, and so on and so forth.
Frankly speaking, I’m not 100 percent excited about Christmas (believe me, “mas excited pa akong grumaduate!”) but I am anxious about what’s gonna be my Xmas this year (I hope it could be merrier) I mean, once again time is slowly ticking, events happen, and history repeats (for the 2005th time?!?)
Nah, my intentions for this blog is way too off (I’m not posting this to be emotional) I just remember when I was a kid; I used to write Santa (and actually sending my mail to him… I wonder if he ever DOES receive my mail?!? Yuk yuk yuk! ) about the things I want for Christmas, and putting my sock (white and clean) under our Christmas tree. Those were the days that I was so pure and innocent (and until now!)
Today I’m gonna revive the good ol’ days…..
To Santa Clause

Dear Santa,
I hope this letter of mine reached you in time… I just want you to know that I’ve been a very good boy this year,(you said you hated naughty kids like _____ so I did my best to be sooooo nice to other people ^.^ ) so dear Santa, here is my gift wish list for this Xmas
IAN’S TOP 13 WISHLIST FOR CHRISTMAS:
13. New set of clothes for next year – for the fiscal year (that’s 2005) I had sufficient clothes to wear, but I had to wear it over and over again (“arte ko noh?!? Kaw kaya magsuot ng iisang pares ng sneakers sa isang buong sem? Hehehe”) so I wish I could have spare clothes for next year (maybe a triple dozen of clothes and pants may do, and don’t forget some shoes, bags and accessories too)
12. Anime collection – during the year, I became an Anime Otaku once again, so I’m begging you Santa… I want Ranma ½ complete cd collection (I think it has 6 seasons and a lot of OVA and movies) and other anime collections that I could be addicted to… don’t worry, I already have Naruto and Bleach collection, so don’t bother. hehehe
Also, other collectibles (like stuff toys to posters) or maybe you could send me a real life Cosplayer (is my term right?!? The one who imitates a popular anime character) of Tifa (Final Fantasy VII)… yeah, she’s so hot Santa…..
11. Upgrade my internet connection to DSL – I’m just plain sick and tired of the usual connection of my internet (50.8kbps… eecchh); and the fact that the only thing I could download with my speed is just music and other files not exceeding 10mb (or it will take a couple of days). Imagine, if I could just upgrade my connection… I could play jerky_boy ( my player in gunbound) 24/7, download music AND videos (including games, anime and so much more) and research my schoolwork more (hehe what do you expect?!? School first!!!)
10. Drumset – since I was in high school I’ve been dreaming of having my VERY OWN DRUMKIT. I had difficulties during my gig practices because we had to rent instruments, and I couldn’t practice well coz’ I don’t have such money to go to music studios just to rehearse. Dear Santa, I prepare having a DW drumkit, 9 pieces zildjian cymbals (with china and cowbells) and a 6a woodtip drumstick
9. Extra Money – I know, everybody is also wishing the same thing, but having different reasons. Some people needed money for more shopping, others want money to save other lives (like for charities and for their hospital expenses)and some for their everyday needs. Me too, needed money, but in a different matter. Santa, I just needed extra money for my everyday life (“ung tipong budget pang araw2x lng… para hindi nako lagging nanghihingi sa pamilya ko ng pera, ung hindi nko nangungutang ng pera sa friends ko at… ung tipong hindi na ko kinakapos ng pera pag kelangan ko sa school, sa social at sa luv life”)
8. New fone – well, Santa… it’s not that I’m fed up with my old cellphone, its just that it’s not working right now (“kaya sa mga frends ko dyan, xenxa kung hindi ako nakakapagtext ngyun… ngyon lam nyo na kung bakit”) and… it I thought that it would just cost me more to bring my fone to the service center (ericsson) than buying a new one. So Santa, put in my sock a Samsung fone (“para koreanong koreano and dating ko, mahal kc pag ericson uli e")
7. Entertainment system – yep, this is also one of my great fantasies… having my own entertainment showcase. I’ve been struggling with my family when it comes to watching TV, and listening to music. So please send me an LCD TV (sony or Philips will do, make it 20 inch flat) together with kenwood soundsystem w/ 5 channels of speakers (enough for surround sound), a sony dvd player and a sony playstation 2 (or 3 if released)
6. Laptop – for outdoor uses. I want my laptop as fast as my current pc (or if not, better). If ever, install a cd writer in it, so I could share my music and other files with other people (and oh, don’t forget to put enough memory and hard disk space on it). I don’t know how much it would cost you there Santa, here it costs 115,000 PHP
Tokyo , Japan (with accommodation and half day tours is a must) would make me smile. I want to go to
Japan to buy all my anime favorites!!!
5. Trip to Japan – aww, I wish my school had a tour to Japan, but unfortunately, we don’t. a 7D6N roundtrip ticket to
4. Trip to
South Korea South Korea is my primary dream destination (not the moon). A 14D13 roundtrip ticket to
Seoul (with accommodation and half day tours is a must also… “and pocket money na rin”). I want to meet Jeon Ji hyun, Kim Jung Hwa and the other cast of Nonstop (my favorite Korean sitcom). Plus, I want to buy my Samsung fone there in
Korea , and lots of pucca items.
* if you’re generous enough, include visa for my trips please? hehehe
3. A better family and social life – hey Santa, I’m not just wishing for material stuff (believe me, I’m not that selfish and cold hearted). I’m not that bad, nor saint enough to wish peace on earth. I just want to have lots of friends, lesser enemies and stable family ties (reuniting my family may be quite difficult to achieve. )grant me Santa a balance life
2. “Girlfriend” – well, what can I say? {blushing… “kala mo eto ang number one wish ko noh?!? Dati yun.. din a muna ngayon” }. Hehehe there is one particular girl I want you to gift wrap (no need to elaborate… hehehe )… joke. Well help me to move along with all my heartaches, and make my Christmas a lot more special (aside from the birthday of Jesus as the most significant event happening to all of us). Santa, I’m not looking for a perfect looking girlfriend (“pero pde na rin kng la ka mahanap”), “masaya na nga ako kng sya nalang bigay mo sakin” <joke>. “kahit isang tawag lang nya sa midnight ng pasko, or Makita ko lng sya sa umaga ng pasko, o basta! Ung babaeng hindi ako lolokohin kung hindi mo makuha c ****, ok?” hehe
And for my number one wish…
1. Good health
- That’s right, Santa… good health. That’s my number one wish (*of course, what will I do with all my wishes if I’m dead the next day?!? Hehehe) well, it’s not that hard to grant, but all I wish I wake up after Christmas,I’m not fat anymore (“hindi naman masyadong masculado o payatot”), growing my long2x hair back, a better clean & clear face, shiny white teeth, and not smoking and drinking (dream on) unless there are social gatherings only.

Hehehe did you have fun reading my letter? Hope you did. Just reminding you guys that Christmas is fast approaching… and don’t forget the true essence of Christmas is not just all the gifts that you will receive… it’s the season that our savior was born to save all of us from sin and evil (meaningful message coming from me)
